Talisa Horton, founder of Lisa D Hair, is a hairstylist and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in protective styles, braids, and locs. Her journey began in middle school in 2011, inspired by a family of stylists who didn’t always have time for her own hair, sparking her curiosity and passion for hair.

 

Since 2017, Talisa has served clients in Atlanta and Phoenix and now works in her hometown of the Inland Empire, California. Her work blends creativity, precision, and care, helping clients look and feel their best while staying on top of the latest techniques and trends.

 

Alongside running her business, Talisa has navigated corporate jobs, earned business degrees, and built resilience through challenges, shaping the way she runs Lisa D Hair. Her vision is about more than hair: it is about mentorship, growth, and empowerment in the beauty industry.
